I’m proud to introduce the Stratton Sessions to the site. These videos will showcase Stratton instruments and the folks that play them. Huge thanks to Dylan VanWeelden for filming these things and making them happen. Hope you enjoy!

When Jon Rauhouse isn’t on tour or in the studio with the likes of Neko Case, Jakob Dylan, The Boxmasters etc, etc… he can sometimes be found in his home studio nestled along the beautiful Hood Canal. This is where we caught up with him and Megyn Neff of Phoenix’s Dry River Yacht Club. Here they perform a beautiful instrumental version of “Hammered Light”, a song written by Jon and Rachel Flotard. Jon is playing a Stratton Model 168 with Ebony back/sides and a Western Red Cedar top.

Here is Jon and Megyn again with one of Jon’s tunes called “Old School”. This time Jon is playing his Stratton OM with Brazilian Rosewood back/sides and a Carpathian Spruce top.

Here is the third and final Stratton Session featuring Jon Rauhouse and Megyn Neff. This one features another tune written by Jon called January 5. Jon is playing a Stratton Model 30 with Malaysian Rosewood back/sides and a Red Spruce soundboard.

This time we have my old friend Jon Lee, President of Walden Guitars sharing a little of our history and checking out an Ebony/Cedar Model 168.

Our first series features Tucker of Lone Madrone and Joshua Collum of The Dust Settlers. These guys came over for a night of picking in the Stratton living room and we got it on tape. Tucker plays a Stratton Parlor guitar with Brazilian Rosewood back/sides and a Red Spruce top. Joshua is picking on a Stratton F-5 mando with Curly Maple back/sides and a Sitka Spruce Top.
